We are a small group of musicians who have opted to learn something new and chosen the ukulele to achieve that goal. 

We are a mixed group, ranging from people who have never played an instrument before to more experienced musicians moving onto a different instrument. Whatever your background we are sure we can find a space for you to join in the fun. Our music is an eclectic mix - with everything from traditional folk songs, old jazz and swing classics to more up to date tunes. First and foremost they are simple to play and join in with and we are always open to expanding our repertoire. It is amazing how many tunes you can play by learning a handful of simple chords. 

No instrument - no worries. A number of our group have spares that can be loaned while you decide whether this is for you. 

We meet on Thursday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. at Wem Youth Club on Leek Street, conveniently located by the town’s main car park.
