Our trip in April was a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, an eventful day as we had unfortunately chosen the day that several horses had bolted through Central London! Nonetheless, we were still able to have our tour of Westminster Hall, view the South Window and New Dawn, and go through St Stephen's Chapel (where the House of Commons used to sit) and the Central Lobby. The Central Lobby is a very busy area, as it is the meeting point of the four corridors leading to the House of Commons, the House of Lords, St Stephen's Chapel and finally, committee rooms and Speakers quarters. Before we left we also had the opportunity to visit the Public Gallery in the House of Commons, where the Defence Secretary was answering questions. All-in-all we had a very enjoyable day.
